thinking-outside-box-3

The objective for this website and particularly this article is to encourage you to realize the potential of an innate ability for creativity that you perhaps have not really focused on. Therefore, don’t underestimate your potential as an inventor as proof will show that you are. It’s your God given innate ability. It’s not necessarily based on your educational or professional background. Rather, it’s your aptness to think outside-the-box when necessity demands it. And, you have done it!

  • PROOF: Remember when you modified/created something to use to make a job easier or to complete it.

  • FACT: If the innovation worked for you, it would also work for others.

  • FACT: If it were patented, copyrighted, and/or trademarked, and sold for $1.00 profit per sale to just ½ of 1% of the consumer-population (18 and older), it could generate $1,172,820 in sales.

The PROOF and FACTS are evidence that you are a potential millionaire. You therefore have the potential for a financially secured future.

CAUTION: DO NOT let procrastination stop you. It would be most regretful to see your idea being advertised in commerce because someone else had the same idea and moved on it. Therefore, be proactive; start working on bringing your idea to fruition. It has happened. (See CAUTION for Inventors.)

(You may need a stepping-stone to bring an invention to fruition. If so, after reading this article, see My Stepping-Stone: FunnelXRoi. I briefly mention a true story about a noted individual. She swallowed her pride and made a business decision that catapulted her to the goal on which she kept her focus. What she said about the stepping-stone depicts how she despised it. But, it was a business decision and it made the difference.)

In Today’s Economy

rising-costs

Rising costs applies to virtually everything. Groceries, insurances (healthcare, home, and automobile) and tuition are the essentials. So, it’s a fact that the general cost-of-living continues to increase at a much faster rate than wages.

It is therefore imperative that we rely on our innate abilities: looking at what we could do for ourselves rather than what corporate could do for us. We should do it now: be entrepreneurs and inventors and leverage our abilities to have economic viability.

A Laughable Idea Paid $Millions

pet-rock-2

Back in 1975, the pet rock was invented by Gary Dahl. It sold for $3.95 and estimates state Dahl sold over 5 million of his pet rocks in a six month period. Even more, each pet rock was purchased for a few pennies and Dahl estimated that the packaging and accompanying manual cost him under 30 cents per rock in bulk to produce. Therefore, assuming incidentals and delivery cost Dahl another 65 cents per rock, then Dahl was profiting 3 dollars per rock. With these totals Dahl earned over 15 million dollars during a six month period in 1975 which would be estimated at $56,166,419.02 today.

Given Dahl’s experience NEVER doubt the potential of the simplest idea. It could be the beginning of a company of which you would ultimately be the CEO. It may therefore be beneficial to you to resurrect an old idea or pursue a recent one.
